Condition: Each map cut in 16 rectangles, laid on canvas. Some yellow staining. Canvas covering the westernmost and easternmost tips of the island.

Wall size sea chart and map of land areas showing all of Cuba, part of Florida Keys plus San Adios and Salvador Grande in the Bahamas.
Minute topographical, political, and hydrographic data. Twelve inset Cuban city plans including one 32 x 12cm environs of Havana. The plans show all major buildings. Cayman Grande, Chico and Brach shown.
Gives statistics on cattle, horses, value of agricultural products given by province. Topographical detail is truly remarkable.
A very good example of a most detailed mid-19th Century sea chart map. Spanish sea charts are quite scarce.
Originally published in Coello's Atlas of Spain and its Overseas Possessions, this exemplar was issued separately, backed on linen.
