Description: Map of the Holy Land, oriented west. The map is an enlarged copy of Nicolaas Visscher’s map of Palestine of 1659, with F. De Wit’s modifications. Along the top of the map is a large title-cartouchewith garlands supported by cherubs. In the bottom center the encampment of the Tribes, surrounding the Tabernacle, flanked by Moses and Aaron on either side.
Dimensions: 500 x 595 mm

Colouring: fine original colouring with later additions
Condition: on thick paper, excellent.
