A fine extra-illustrated example of Coronelli's monumental 'Isolario', with the first volume covering the countries of the Mediterranean and the second the rest of the world. Among the plates are some of Coronelli's best-known maps: the folding bird's-eye view of Venice, the two-sheet Crete, Malta, Corfu, and two-sheet China. These are supplemented with extra gore sheets and three large plates of Venetian boats. A list of plates is available on request
