In the background the harbour of Damietta being attacked by the Frisian troops. In the foreground crusaders kneeling in front of the pope. This etching is one of the plates designed to decorate the big print with the map of Haarlem. Lettered on the top:'Innemen van Damiaten 1188 [VICIT VIM VIRTUS] en nieuw Stads wapenschild.' Not signed.
