The firm continued after his widow's death in 1719 as J.Covens & C.Mortier.A strikingly coloured, large-format sea chart of the Red Sea, southwest coast of Arabia and Africa' s east coast from modern Tanzania in 11o South to Suez in 35.5o North.The fort and island of Mombassa are shown in great detail in seperate insets. Babel Mandel is prominent in the entrance of the Red Sea.A most spectecular chart, issued in the 'Atlas Suite de Neptune Francais'.
